A crowded group of epithelial cells with coarse chromatin and higher N/C ratio (MGG) - A rather crowded group of epithelial cells with coarse chromatin and higher N/C ratio than found in usual follicular lesions. Often discohesive such cells are found in the background (MGG).The nuclei have irregular outlines and chromatin pattern (Pap) - A goup of cells reminiscent of a follicle but lacking colloid. The nuclei have irregular outlines and chromatin pattern; the N/C ratio is high. These features and the overall cellularity suggested a follicular neoplasm with suspicious features. Histology classified it as an insular carcinoma.
